Is there a better way to celebrate VEGA's 30th birthday than by inviting the party starters in Magtens Korridorer into their 30th concert.

The battle begins on December 30th, where you can beat the Christmas peace and the brown potatoes out of your body when the band opens up their mighty discography of catchy and fast-paced rock hits. The band says about the concert in VEGA:

“Over time, we have played well over 1,000 concerts. And a full 29 of them have been "at home in VEGA", as we like to call it. So our concert on December 30th will be our concert number 30 at VEGA - and even here in 2026, when the venue can celebrate its 30th birthday!”

Magtens Korridorer manage to write Danish rock history with thunder, bang and elegance. With a unique directness, they have written themselves into everyone's everyday drumming and at the same time manage to keep everything recognizable at arm's length. Irony, roaring and life's big questions are at the forefront when Magtens Korridorer put trivialities under loop and smash them out with hard-hitting rock realism.

In 2005, Magtens Korridorer released their debut album Friværdig, and the quintet quickly won the hearts of the people and the recognition of critics, who used words like “Demonstration of power” and “Danish rock’s new rulers”.

Since then, they have released a number of albums, each of which has delivered solid hits to their now impressive back catalogue. The album Club Promise from 2022 is the latest in the line-up, which includes the hit singles “Ensom Stjerne”, “Månelys i Rav” and “Kældermorgen”.

The album was showered with stars from Danish reviewers. Politiken, among others, gave it four beating hearts and wrote: “With 'Club Promise', Magtens Korridorer have made their best and most focused album in years.”
