Explosive Japanese noise rock will make the brown panelling at Lille VEGA vibrate as Mass Of The Fermenting Dregs return to VEGA with new songs.

With their eyes fixed firmly on the effects pedals, the band break through the sound barrier with their distinctive guitar-driven sound, which sonically brings to mind overseas counterparts such as DIIV and the British bands Slowdive and bdrmm.

The concert at VEGA is part of the band’s extensive Iwaou – The Tour, which takes them through Asia, Australia, North America, Latin America and Europe. The tour marks the release of their sixth studio album, Iwaou, which is due out on 14 August.

When the trio take to the stage, they do so with explosive energy and extreme melodic precision. The band manage to create an eclectic sonic universe of equal parts light and darkness.

Mass Of The Fermenting Dregs were formed in Kobe, Japan, in 2007. Their discography includes masterful bursts of energy such as their self-titled debut EP and the albums No New World (2018) and Awakening:Sleeping (2022).

Get ready for an epic noise-rock spectacle at Lille VEGA, where brand-new tracks such as “Simmer Summer”, “Let It Go” and the title track “Iwaou” will be interwoven with selected fan favourites from their rich back catalogue.
