Two very different bands with the commonality that they each set new standards for Danish metal on the European scene hit Lille VEGA!

Kōya

Kōya have stuck with their eminent blend of post-hardcore with sludge, black metal and shoegaze. The result is a sound that feels like Nordic darkness and melancholy in your ear canals.

The band is known for explosive and captivating live performances, where chaos and control are balanced in an emotional expression. Kōya has already made its mark on both the Danish and international scene with concerts at, among others, Copenhell and Summer Breeze.

Kōya is currently working on their debut album, with the first single due out in late 2025, and the full album due in 2026.

Persecutor

Persecutor brings a completely different, but strongly contrasting expression. With a sound that combines sharp riffs, fast-paced grooves and melodic guitar harmonies, they deliver thrash metal with nerve, joy of playing and a solid portion of attitude.

The band will release their third album Casualties of Violence in March 2026. With appearances as the opening act at Copenhell 2024 and supporting Illdisposed on their European tour, Persecutor has cemented itself as one of the most promising new forces on the thrash scene.
