Plum and I have their own answer to alternative modern jazz. With beautiful melodies and understated improvisations, the listener is invited into a special sound universe. Here we encounter both roaring guitars and the vacuum of emptiness - which is why Plum and I also reaches far beyond the typical jazz audience.

With the releases For Me He Was A Passenger and Glowing/Gone in their bag, Plum and I have played shows across all of Denmark, including a completely packed concert at SPOT Festival, and been in rotation at P8 Jazz. This fall, the first single from the band's upcoming EP will be released, which will be released in early 2026.

On stage, Plum and I consists of the three musicians Konrad Tosti (trumpet/flugelhorn), Mathis Jønsson (guitar) and Thit Helbo (percussion), all of whom represent the new generation of young, up-and-coming jazz musicians.

The trio's instruments interact with each other to create a delicate, almost cinematic expression, where the trumpet one moment transports the listener to a smoky café in a 50s film, only to be quickly replaced by heavy percussion that gives a much more somber sound. That's why Plum and I are perfect for the intimate setting of Ideal Bar when they drop by on February 21st.
