After a year as one of VEGAs Udvalgte artists and a sold-out show at Ideal Bar, shinyhunt return to VEGA – this time to Lille VEGA on April 17, 2027.

Copenhagen indie darlings shinyhunt have burst onto the scene in 2026. The year kicked off with VEGAs Udvalgte, followed by headline shows, a sold-out concert at Ideal Bar and a support slot for APHACA at Parken on October 10.

Shinyhunt write big songs from a small apartment. Drawing inspiration from the alternative rock of the ’90s and ’00s, the band blend shoegaze, fuzz and dusty grunge riffs with soaring melodies and flashes of pop. Think grunge-fuelled sonics in the vein of Mew and The Smashing Pumpkins.

In January 2027, the Copenhagen indie band will release nosophobia, the follow-up to their breakthrough album sea-salt ice cream. The album draws on a difficult period of illness, exploring it through vulnerable, honest and insistent love songs. It is about the fullness of the present moment, about being human alongside others, and about the connections that can keep us grounded when everything feels uncertain.

In its original sense, nosophobia refers to a phobic condition – but for shinyhunt, it is also a place. A world you can step into. A place where you can be alone, disappear and lose your way. But also a place where, if you dare, you can reach out, hold on to one another and love.

Even as the spaces around shinyhunt continue to grow, the starting point remains the same. The songs are rooted in the intimate and the personal, but have gradually taken on a scale that reaches far beyond the small apartment where the project began.

When shinyhunt take the stage at Lille VEGA, it will therefore be both an ending and a new beginning.
