Onrushing SYL and Omsorg deliver a double-up on post-hardcore on February 14 in Lille VEGA.

CYLINDER
Copenhagen's SYL is known for their energetic live performances that balance hardcore, post-punk and noise rock. The debut albumall good(2022) and the EP impotence(2024) has quickly established the band as a significant voice on the Danish hardcore scene. Lead singer Benjamin Clemens' vocals cut through the soundscape with intense raw power, breaking up the band's noisy backdrop of hard-hitting hardcore.

The band's shows are an experience that opens the doors to everyone, even those who are experiencing the intense love of hardcore for the first time. SYL invites the audience to release the emotions that might otherwise be packed away.

From the other end of the country, Aalborg's Omsorg creates emotional post-hardcore punk. The band's EPEchoes (2024) and debut album Moments, Movements (2023) brings an intense presence through live-recorded energy. With a raw and honest sound, they have distinguished themselves as a voice that both dares and wants to. Their lyrics touch on topics such as loneliness, abuse, anxiety, grief, longing and love.

Care alternates between the hard-hitting and the sensitive in a sound universe that both makes room for hardcore punk and an ambient and floating sound.
