The duo consists of brothers Joey and David Landreth, who, in addition to sharing a family tree, are also rooted in a love for the essence of music, for which their creative engine runs on a mixture of inspiration from Bonnie Raitt's blues, Little Feat's funky country-rock, Ry Cooder's eclectic instrumental music and Lyle Lovett's twangy sound.

The debut album Let It Lie (2013) garnered both acclaim and acclaim, and the duo won a JUNO Award for Best Album and a nomination for “International Artist of the Year” at the British Americana Music Awards in 2016. In the years since, The Bros. Landreth have released several more tracks; '87 (2019), Come Morning (2022) and most recently the live album for you, live (2024).
