After a stormy 2024, where Søn established themselves as one of the country's strongest live bands, the band has retired for a while to write new material. That time is now over, and they are ready to take over Denmark's live scene again.

Søn has always received praise for their unique and captivating concerts. On stage, Søn is agile, exuberant and known for blowing the audience away. With unwavering empathy, they manage to weave the intimate and fragile together with the raucous and rocking, leaving you there, where you are taken by the hand, while at the same time you have no idea what is going to happen.

Their latest release, "Pissoir", is the first single from the band's upcoming album and has received recognition from the Danish music media, especially at P3, where it has been the Unmissable Song of the Week on P3. Søn himself says about the single:

"Pissoir was created in an old stone house in a ghost town in Italy. And there's also something a little spooky or off about it for us. This slightly mysterious "du" with blue lips and candyfloss-colored scars that is impossible to find, while strange music pumps in the background. At the same time, it's just very relatable and heartbreak in the club-like way. And it's probably largely this mix of the strange and the recognizable that has made us fall in love with it and have decided on it as our first single."

Søn consists of Kristoffer, Søren, William, Jonathan and Carl-Erik. Since their album debut in 2019 with Scandinavian Design, with surprising live concerts, idiosyncratic compositions and circle-kicking lyrics, they have established that Søn is something special.
