The Last Dinner Party gives concert in Denmark on tour with new album
British quintet The Last Dinner Party is ready with the follow-up to their critically acclaimed debut album Prelude to Ecstasy from 2024, where, among other things, the hit single "Nothing Matters" positioned them as one of the most hyped new names on the alternative pop and indie rock scene.
The band, consisting of Abigail Morris (vocals), Lizzie Mayland (vocals and guitar), Emily Roberts (guitar, mandolin and flute), Georgia Davies (bass) and Aurora Nishevci (keyboards and vocals), performed that same year for an estimated 50,000 people at the Glastonbury Festival, and subsequently visited Denmark at the Roskilde Festival.
Here, the young quintet was also welcomed by a large number of ecstatic audiences, and an enthusiastic Danish music press, which responded with several five-star reviews and high praise:
"Everyone fell head over heels when the heart-warming The Last Dinner Party took over Roskilde Festival” - Soundvenue
"With songs rooted in the music of David Bowie, Kate Bush and Queen, heavyweights in English music, it should be difficult to go wrong in the city. That said, part of the quintet's collective intelligence is that they have created their own theatrical identity, in a time when dramatic empathy is undervalued.” - GAFFA
In 2025, The Last Dinner Party has served up the first taste of their new album The Pyre with the single “This Is The Killer Speaking”. According to the band themselves, the moods on the new album are darker, more raw and down-to-earth, and feel like looking out over a sublime landscape, rather than sitting at an opulent dinner table.
In 2026, local fans and adventurous music enthusiasts can look forward to experiencing the band's charming baroque-inspired indie rock with a dark medieval atmosphere and complete visual aesthetics when The Last Dinner Party invites you to a musical feast at Store VEGA.
