Intergalactic dance euphoria with Inspector Spacetime in VEGA
For Inspector Spacetime , the ultimate goal is simple: to get people moving, to let go of their inhibitions; to leave their heads, get into their bodies and let the dance take over.
The Icelandic pop trio has emerged in 2025 with the release of the singles “Party at My House” in early January, followed by “Catch Planes”.
Inspector Spacetime has received rave reviews from critics and audiences since the release of their self-titled debut album in 2021, partly for their recordings, but especially for their energetic concerts. The band, who visited this year's SPOT Festival, received the following words from GAFFA:
“Inspector Spacetime is an extremely geeky archaeology project that has gotten itself drunk on alcoholic geyser water and has Iceland's anarchist aesthetic, charm and approach to Western culture – and it works damn well! I'd love to travel around the multiverse in a TARDIS if they deliver a thunderous techno-pop party to go with it."
In the past few years, Inspector Spacetime has played at several Icelandic music festivals, including Iceland Airwaves, and they have appeared as support for fellow countryman Daði Freyr's concerts on the European leg of his latest tour.
It is therefore with new pulsating tones and a completely electric and carefree attitude that Inspector Spacetime smiles at the dance and euphoria in Lille VEGA on February 27th.
