Soulful Australians fill VEGA with beautiful indie folk songs
The Paper Kites will be on stage on March 6, 2026, at Store VEGA, where they gave a critically acclaimed concert in 2024. This time, they will be performing new songs from their upcoming album, If You Go There, I Hope You Find It, which will be released on January 23.
The Paper Kites consists of five friends who were already close before they started playing together in their teens. This is clearly evident in the intimate and familiar atmosphere that characterizes their beautiful and soulful indie folk songs.
The Paper Kites write songs that unfold slowly, but whose smoldering melodic glow massages its way under the skin and into the listener's heart. Fans can now look forward to the band's seventh studio album, If You Go There, I Hope You Find It, recorded at Melbourne's legendary Sing Sing Studios and mixed by multi-Grammy winner Jon Low (Taylor Swift, Ed Sheeran, Gracie Abrams).
The band broke through with the single “Bloom,” their most streamed song on Spotify with over 750 million plays. They have released a total of six albums, most recently At the Roadhouse (2023), and have more than 6 million monthly listeners on Spotify.

Brighton based Bess Atwell's discography is neatly woven with threads of soulful guitar and a soaring but crystal clear vocal. And from that delicate fabric it's easy to see the threads of inspiration from artists like Julia Jacklin, Stella Donnelly, Phoebe Bridgers and Soccer Mommy.
Bess Atwell brings us into the spring with her songs about the need for human connections. About coming to terms with being afraid of feeling and finding the courage to do something about it.
