Danish songwriter and indie pop vocalist Selina Gin released the singles "Hey Gatekeeper<3" and "Hurts Like a Mother" in 2025. Both songs have been in rotation at the radio station P6, and now the musician is back with new tunes: the single "Oh My Heart".

The song is the last single and album precursor for Selina Gin's upcoming album, 'I Memorize your Face, ‘Cause It Changes All the Time, which will be released on September 26.

"Oh My Heart" is an ode to the nature of love and, like the rest of the songs on the upcoming album, was written together with Gin's husband. She talks about her approach to songwriting on the album and the single in a press release:

"All the lyrics for the new album were written together with my husband, and it has been really special to write with someone who has a deep understanding of who and where you are. This song almost wrote itself, extremely fast - it just came, in a way I've never experienced before."

"Oh My Heart" has a natural, country-inspired musical expression, with organic instruments accompanying Gin's beautiful and soulful vocals. A voice that, at times, transports the listener to the greatest country voices in the world and heralds a new musical side to the artist.

In 2020, Selina Gin released her outstanding debut album, Patiently Weaving, to great acclaim from both fans and critics. An album that truly cemented the songwriter as a distinctive voice in the indie pop landscape here at home.
