Ye Vagabonds fill VEGA with beautiful harmonies and traditional Irish folk music
In January 2026, Ye Vagabonds released their long-awaited studio album All Tied Together.
The album was recorded primarily in an old house in Galway, Ireland’s cultural heartland, with acclaimed producer Phil Weinrobe (Big Thief, Adrienne Lenker) at the helm.
The album is deeply rooted in Irish folk music, but Ye Vagabonds take those traditions and breathe new life into them with compelling ease.
Their sound brings together electric guitars, trumpet, upright bass, synthesizer, harmonium, bouzouki and fiddle in breathtakingly beautiful arrangements.
Ye Vagabonds is led by brothers Brian and Diarmuid Mac Gloinn, whose special bond allows them to create unique and natural vocal harmonies, with their distinctive and nuanced voices at times melting seamlessly into one another.
Over the years, the brothers have made their mark on the Irish folk scene with their keen sense of melody, interplay and vocal harmony. They have received widespread critical acclaim and won Best Track, Best Album and Best Folk Group at the RTÉ Radio 1 Folk Awards.
The band’s story began on the streets, where the brothers performed together as buskers. Since then, Ye Vagabonds have developed a musical expression that remains firmly rooted in folk tradition while allowing it to move in new directions.
There is a special sense of intimacy to their music, where laughter, tears and communal singing all find their natural place. Ye Vagabonds invite you into that very atmosphere when they bring their folk caravan to Lille VEGA on April 4, 2027.
