After retiring from music for a long period, he returned 

 (2023). The release features atmospheric, 70s-inspired arrangements co-produced by Grammy-winning sound engineer Tom Elmhirst (Adele, David Bowie) at the legendary Electric Lady Studios.

The album marks a significant artistic leap, with John Vincent III expanding his soundscape with more voluminous instrumentation and beautiful atmospheric harmonies.



 is inspired by the music that emerged from the Los Angeles area of Laurel Canyon during the 70s with names like Joni Mitchell, The Byrds, Buffalo Springfield, Carol King and others. Atwood Magazine wrote in their enthusiastic review of the album:

"Singer/songwriter John Vincent III spills his aching heart and soul in his sophomore record Songs for the Canyon, a breathtakingly beautiful folk album made with love and tender care."

Now the songwriter is channeling this momentum into his next full-length album, due out later this year.

With melodious and heartfelt songs deeply rooted in classic American folk, John Vincent III is ready to make time stand still in Lille VEGA on June 5th.
