AySay takes everything you think you know about genres and turns them inside out. The Danish-Turkish-Kurdish trio fuses their Nordic roots with frontwoman Luna Ersahin's Anatolian roots. The trio combines traditional instruments such as saz and darbuka with electronic elements. AySay's unique sound is taken to new heights by Luna Ersahin's captivating vocals, which elegantly weave back and forth between Danish, Kurdish and Turkish, with complete ease.

In 2023, AySay released the album KÖY, which followed on the heels of their critically acclaimed debut album Su Akar from 2021. KÖY won a DMA Roots for Danish Roots Release of the Year.

It is a challenging exercise to put into words what exactly AySay's unique sound reminds one of. But imagining a collaboration between Altin Gün, AURORA and Eivør speaks volumes about their inciting and versatile sound. On January 9, AySay kicks off the 2026 concert year and sets the bar high for another season of unique musical experiences in VEGA.

After the concert, there will be an afterparty in Store VEGA's sidebar. Here, PAYDAR will keep the dance floor going with a DJ set. The afterparty will run until half past midnight.
