Catchy indie pop songs with touches of rock and R&B
The quartet Big Sleep have been rocking indie pop fans for the past four years to their soulful songs that take detours into indie rock and R&B.
The band is based in Ireland, but also has members from Italy and Spain. Their sources of inspiration are as diverse as their homelands and include Big Thief, JJ Cale, Jamiroquai and The Cure.
They released the two EPs Isn't That Sweet and Maccy D's last year and in May the single "Daisy", so there is plenty of new music to look forward to when Big Sleep plays the November darkness away in their engrossing universe.

Support: South of Limbo
South of Limbo consists of Robin, Thomas, Jeppe and Marc. Four friends who met in the small town Middelfart, where they found a common creative voice to challenge the blue melancholy with warmth and sincerity.
The band takes great pride in a thoughtful live show, and has played at one of Scandinavia's biggest upcoming festivals, Spot Festival, two years in a row. At Spot Festival 2024, the band received a 5-star review from the music magazine Bands of Tomorrow, which wrote "Lively dance moves from the lead singer, poetic interpretations of the songs, but also with room for each member of the group to shine. (...) These boys were born to be on stage!"
GAFFA also describes the synthpop band with words of praise: "(...) glimpses of The Cure in the melody lines, but in a festive mix of propulsion and epic choruses and big arm movements. (...) This is definitely a band we'll be hearing more of in the future."
