kingtommi invites you to Merlin's DK Questy
kingtommi has just released his second EP Haven (Garden), where he fights with inner demons and struggles to let love grow again. Now he announces his first Denmark tour, where he together with the audience must explore the Haven.
Few places encourage exploration and inquiry more than a garden! There is always something to look at, pick up, sniff and take care of in a garden. The garden is a place, man can enter and learn something about life, the world and ourselves - or as kingtommi himself says:
“I'm constantly trying to find out what 'The Garden' is for me - what can be found in it, and
what is its overall metaphorical meaning for me? Maybe it's my life in which you
can walk around and find different things that are present?”
Danish-New Zealander Thomas Mulcahy made his solo debut at the end of 2022 with helt ind til knoglerne, fusing royal blue hip-hop and explosive improvisational music. The EP is devilish, unpredictable and oozes youth sensitivity, which garnered praise from Politiken, P6 Beat and Soundvenue there signed off with 5 stars and wrote: “'helt ind til knoglerne' remains as a coronation ceremony for a self-assured prince with an obvious talent.”
On a stage, kingtommi demands both mosh pits and silence. It is intense, strong and touching, and kingtommi plays with a full band consisting of saxophone, guitar, bass and drums. "... on the whole, there is good reason to set expectations high for kingtommi. We will be hearing more about him!", wrote GAFFA's Ole Rosenstand Svidt.
So come along on kingtommi's journey through Haven and buy a ticket for Merlin's DK Questy

Copenhagen based musician and songwriter, Anine Bjørk, writes Danish
songs about friendship, longing and hope for the future.
Through modern folk songs, she raises questions to the community about
intangible phenomena such as tik-toks, emojis and morild. Words and melodies
that merge together as musical explanations of how something can accelerate and
accelerate and stand completely still at the same time.
