In '24 it's thirty years since Allan Olsen & his band Norlan released the great double live CD, Rygter Fra Randområderne.

The disc was recorded in a hurry. Allan Olsen had moved his suitcase to Ireland and only came home to play the six concerts that would form the basis of the release. Jan Vinther, Johs Stærk and Knud Møller were responsible for the production. And they did an excellent job.

Rygter Fra Randområderne was nominated for a Grammy, and most people in the know would say that Rygter Fra Randområderne is among the best and most complete live releases in Denmark.

In 2024, Allan Olsen will assemble a new band - a "new" Norlan - and go on tour to re-enact Rygter Fra Randområderne. From one end of the country to the other. After all, it's the anniversary...

As you know, Rygter Fra Randområderne contains more Olsen classics than any other album. Audience favourites such as "Mergelgraven", "Gajoverden", "Vi lå i jo Herning", "Rimmerby Strand", "Op til Alaska" and many more. They are there, all the old ones written thirty years ago.

And unlike Olsen's long-standing practice: no set list or order - well, there's not much to argue about this time: Rygter Fra Randområderne - played intact as on the disc and live.
