With her distinctive fusion of indie and folk, Rhys returns to the stage with a renewed artistic expression. The Swedish singer that had her breakthrough at a young age and later achieved over 225 million streams on her debut album Stages, has since undergone a personal and musical transformation.

After struggling with the weight of expectations and a sense of losing herself in the music industry, she has now found her voice and is ready to take listeners on a new journey.

Rhys' music is characterized by deeply personal lyrics that draw on both nostalgia and the emotions of everyday life. Her new sound universe, inspired by artists such as Ron Sexsmith and Nick Drake, explores a limitless fusion of genres, weaving both indie and folk into her atmospheric and emotional productions. Songs like "Heathrow" reflect on both youthful love and the shame of reliving the dramas of the past.

AKA lisa is a music project founded in 2021 by singer, producer and songwriter Calle Johansson with the help of producer and songwriter Albin Tjernberg. The project is characterised by an atmospheric sound universe, great dynamics and introspective lyrics.

AKA lisa released their debut EP no feeling is final, pt.1 (2022). In the autumn, the project found a wider audience when the single ‘cope’ was picked up by the American TV series Shrinking. Now a debut album is in the works, with new music weaving together elements of folk, rock, pop and electronic sounds.
