On the record, Florida Girl, explores with her luminous indie-folk music a profound investigation of the singer's inner life, addressing themes ranging from mortality, body image, and the indescribable complexity of human relationships Florida Girl is the follow-up to Luce's acclaimed debut, Dark River, from 2021 and was created together with her friends and bandmates Anthony da Costa (Joy Williams and Michaela Anne) and Aaron Steele (Joy Oladokun, Portugal. The Man).

Andrea von Kampen masters the art of songwriting through her captivating melodies and introspective storytelling in a virtuoso manner. The singer and songwriter has even been compared to cult hero and singer/songwriter par excellence, Nick Drake. After releasing a handful of EPs, von Kampen released her independent debut album Old Country in 2019 and the sequel, That Spell in 2021.
