Singer/songwriter Juan Wauters takes you through folk tales of everyday life in both English and Spanish. From his early days as a touring musician and multicultural citizen, Wauters has spent most of his life traveling.

His Spanish opus, La Onda de Juan Pablo (2019), was created during a journey through Latin America. He then traveled north to the US, where he collaborated with the likes of Mac DeMarco, HOMESHAKE, Nick Hakim and more on the stunning and noisy album Real Life Situations (2021).

During the Covid epidemic, Wauters discovered that he appreciated stability and the benefits of staying in one place. To the rest of the world, however, he'll probably always be a wandering rebel, which is the title of his sixth solo album, Wandering Rebel (2023). This album is his most introspective work to date, reflecting on how he has changed, how the world sees him and what he wants to achieve in life.

The album's lyrics are characterized by deep self-reflection, giving a beautiful depth to the musical experiments, while his ever-expanding global network of musical collaborators adds a lot of nuance to the music and songwriting.
