Zoumer sets you free in Ideal Bar
The name Zoumer stands for the singer and producer Yasmina Derradj, whose musical universe oscillates between energetic synthpop, art-pop, lo-fi beats, and sampled soundscapes, all filtered through a lens of punk and the Algerian protest genre raï.
The project represents a wildness and liberating energy - a play with freedom and self-expression, where not fitting in is transmuted into total liberation. Live, the energy, otherwise coded into the DNA of the music, is movement-inducing and - in the best possible way - infectious. Playfulness is central, and here, the Zoumer project is a positive and adventurous energy discharge - an aesthetic and emotional total experience that - when seen, listened to, and danced with - spreads like ripples in water. In Soundvenue's description, they put it as follows:
"[Zoumer] sounds like the dirtiest, most unpolished synthpop party you could dream of. It's all enveloped in a grungy DIY aesthetic. It's easy to imagine Derradj with a cardboard box full of instruments and sounds, pulling out instruments as she pleases. If a guitar is needed for a few bars, it's there for just a few bars and then tossed back into the box. Screw the norms! Long live playfulness!"
Zoumer released its first single in the autumn of 2023 but has already played concerts at the Roskilde Festival and in Pumpehuset, receiving praise from Soundvenue, Passive//Aggressive, GAFFA, and P6Beat. Zoumer was one of the founders of the now-defunct music collective Final Planet.

part time boy
part time boy is a rising artist and shapeshifter, drawing inspiration from animals, computer games, and their journey as a trans person. They create art-pop-rock, blending soft and intense sounds through self-recorded and computer-generated samples. Their work explores love, trauma, and childhood memories, centering on keeping the inner child heard and seen. By recreating a child's playful mind in an adult body, they challenge and aim to dismantle normative, discriminatory structures in society, one note at a time.
Debbie Screams (dj-set)
