After a break from live music, where Chris Burton has had success songwriting for others, he is now back with new music in his own name. A project he describes as the culmination of several years of contemplation and hard work, and as an honest picture of him as a musician and a person.

The first release is the single “Folk Forsvinder”. The song is a melancholic and lyrical single about a lost friendship - a personal story that has just become the new P3's Uundgåelige.

Chris Burton had his breakthrough at the age of 16 with the single “Love Letters” in 2019, which attracted attention both at home and abroad.

Since then, Burton has collaborated with international producers, been support on tour for Christopher, and released several solo releases before choosing to press the pause button in 2021 to find new paths in music.

As a songwriter, he has been involved in a number of Danish successes, including Mille's "Drinker For Mig Selv" and "Lyver For Min Dagbog", Olivver and Augusta Schackinger's single "Ødelagt Byen" and Ella Augusta and Ida Laurberg's "Bedre Held Næste Gang".

On April 29th, Chris Burton returns to the live stage when he invites the audience into his new musical universe at Ideal Bar.
