This April will be the third time that swedish Girl Scout makes their way to Ideal Bar and gives VEGA's audience an injection of emotional indie rock.

In March 2026, the band's long-awaited debut album, Brink, will be released. Across the record, the Stockholm band unfolds their indie tones in a more daring sound, than we've heard them before.

The lyrics swirl with feelings of doubt, but also hide glimpses of nostalgia. “It is a kind of self-medication against the world,” says singer and guitarist Emma Jannsson.

The band has received a lot of attention in the past few years, and they have been predicted to have a successful career by many music media.

Atwood Magazine was among the positive reviewers, showering Girl Scout with praise upon the release of their EP, Granny Music, in 2023:
