A musical and dreamy landscape with trails of electronic drums and acoustic guitars is what Swedish Kasino makes evident in his songs.

The focal point of his lyrics is the timeless theme of love. He articulates both the difficulty and the ease of loving another person, and the lyrics have resonated with his Swedish audience.

Kasino, also known as Johannes Runemark, debuted as a solo artist in the spring of 2020 with the single “Skriva om dig” and has since released three EPs, the latest of which contains the song, “Oh Love”, which has been in rotation on the Swedish radio channel P3.

Alongside his solo project, Johannes Runemark has both written and produced songs for several of Sweden's biggest artists such as Veronica Maggio and Thomas Stenström.

Kasino is currently in the studio, finishing his debut album. In connection with the upcoming release, he will be taking a trip across the Øresund to Ideal Bar on April 9th.

Cano's music feels like seeing your best friend cry for the first time—both beautiful and heartbreaking—and with his songs, he hopes to inspire others to open up to their loved ones before their thoughts and feelings become too heavy to bear alone.

With only a few releases, he has already played a sold-out showcase concert at Hotel Cecil in December 2024, participated in the UMTO tour 2024, given a concert in a packed Byhaven the same year, and performed at SPOT Festival 2024 as part of the Karrierekanonen semi-final. Most recently, he impressed at the Uhørt Festival 2025 with a critically acclaimed concert that earned him 5 stars in GAFFA, among other accolades.
