To Cian Ducrot speaks to many Danish pop lovers, he proved it in 2023 with a completely sold-out concert at Store VEGA. A show where he – as Poplish wrote in its enthusiastic review – “hit VEGA right in the heart”, while the lovable Irishman was characterized as “a sensitive pop star with a raw edge”.

His career began in 2016, when Cian Ducrot appeared on “The Voice UK”, but was eliminated early on. The Irish singer and songwriter – who comes from a musical family, studied music in London and plays flute, guitar, ukulele, piano, saxophone and drums – made a good impression on many viewers. He quickly gained a large following on social media, which was well received by his self-released debut full-length, “started in college (mixtape)”, which was released in 2020.

In 2022, Ducrot released the strong single "I'll Be Waiting" (which reached the top 20 in England, Denmark, the Netherlands and Norway and the top 10 in Ireland) and "All For You", which together have well over 100 million streams on Spotify.

At the beginning of 2023, Ducrot toured as support for Ed Sheeran, later he guested on Tinderbox, and in August his debut album was released, Victory, which went straight to the top of the English, Irish and Scottish album charts and also reached the top 10 in the Netherlands and Belgium. The album received 4 out of 5 stars in The Irish Times, and on the subsequent tour, The Guardian praised his live show.

In 2025, Ducrot has so far treated us to two new tracks, “Who's Making You Feel It” and “Little Dreaming”, which show him from his best melodic side. Now his Danish fans can also look forward to experiencing him live here again soon, because on October 6, the great musical talent will return to Store VEGA, where he captivated a packed house in 2023.
