American singer-songwriter Chris Staples forges dreamy indie melodies that linger long after the final chords have rung out.

Since the debut album Blackest Hair, Bluest Eyes As of 2004, Staples has released seven studio albums. The latest album Cloud Souvenirs (2023) is packed with insistent melodies, fingerpicked twelve-string guitar and warm vocals that invite the listener to dream and reflect.
