What do you get when five strangers meet during a global pandemic in a small town in the Swedish countryside? The answer is a fusion of R&B, country and soul from the band Sunnan , which is appropriately named after the town of Sunnanhed, where the members met.

The band is inspired by experiences from both the screen and reality, drawing on memories from their first meeting in a barn overlooking Sweden's scenic landscape and from films such as Wim Wenders' Paris, Texas.

In keeping with their love of film, their debut album, Cinema, was released last summer. The album quickly shot up the charts, and the band entered rotation on Swedish radio stations with the single “Wild Horses”.

The concert is supported by Liveurope. Liveurope is the first pan-European initiative supporting concert venues in their efforts to promote emerging European artists. Liveurope is co-funded by the EU's Creative Europe programme.
