Friday, February 21st, jumped Katinka out as a solo artist with the hard-hitting and moving single Knappenål, and she's still flying. After 12 years in an ever-changing band constellation, Katinka is now standing completely alone for the first time – both as an experienced musician and debuting solo artist.

And yes, you can easily be both at the same time. That is perhaps exactly where Katinka thrives best – right between crying and laughing, between strength and vulnerability. And that is also where you will find her first solo headliner concerts. You can experience that in October, when Katinka takes the stage at Store VEGA.

Katinka about her solo debut: "I've never had such big bubbles in my stomach of excitement, anxiety and happiness as I do right now, when I have to show the world what my songs sound like when I stand on my own two feet. There's so much that feels new. It's like having to learn to ride a bike again - and then discovering that I love riding a bike and that I know exactly where I want to go."
