Ida Laurberg has created a very special musical universe, where honest lyrics and melancholic melodies meet energetic pop productions. Her sound is both vulnerable and strong, and her music manages to capture both the quiet moments and the great emotions that characterize life.

With two Danish Music Awards, three top 10 singles and an appearance on Orange Scene behind her, Ida is now ready to present her first Danish-language album, Bench heater.

Bench heater is a deeply personal album where Ida explores everything from the ups and downs of love to insecurities, anger and the feeling of being alone. The album includes the already popular songs “Terrier”, the duet “Jeg Ka' Rigtig Godt Li' Dig” with Andreas Odbjerg and the latest single “Mellem Mor og Far”, along with nine new tracks. Ida describes the album as an honest story about growing up – a journey through life's ups and downs, where both difficult and happy moments find space.

The titleBench heaterdraws inspiration from Ida's all-time favorite movie "The Perks of Being a Wallflower". The plot revolves around how being a little weird, a little different and maybe not always fitting in can actually be an advantage.
