American singer and songwriter Brooklyn Dekker, better known by his stage name Dekker, moves in a dreamy indie-folk universe where honest lyrics and seductive melodies merge. With three album releases under his belt, including Slow Reveal: Chapter One (2020), I Won't Be Your Foe (2022) and the latest Future Ghosts (2024), Dekker has distinguished himself as an artist with both depth and edge.

Dekker is currently out with the single "The Dove" (2025), which continues his signature sound with gentle vocal harmonies and an alluring melancholy.

After touring extensively in Europe with his former band Rue Royale, Dekker took a break from the road to focus on family life. A few years later, Dekker rediscovered music through collaboration with his old friend and pianist Lambert on the albumWe Share Phenomena (2018)The creative spark was rekindled and it was the start of a new musical chapter.

In 2019, Dekker took the plunge and began his solo journey. With a heart full of stories and a desire to create something more personal, he has since explored the vulnerability and beauty of a subdued indie folk soundscape.

Working closely with drummer Stefan Wittich and sound engineer Zach Hanson – known for his work with Bon Iver, The Staves and Whitney, among others – Dekker refines a warm, atmospheric soundscape. The result is a cohesive and captivating sound that invites the listener to get up close.
