Happy reunion with Beharie's musical heating pad
With elements of indie, folk and soul in the melting pot, Beharie brews soul-warming songs. His second album When The Silence Gets Too Loud is just around the corner. Beharie's songwriting has become increasingly personal over the years and the sincerity culminates on the new album.
When The Silence Gets Too Loud is an interplay between the grand and the intimate. The release features goosebump-inducing choral arrangements, dramatic instrumentation and warming acoustic moments. When Beharie flawlessly navigates between the contrasts and delivers well-crafted lyrics, it testifies to a strengthened self-confidence in the musician's art.
The songwriter has cemented his respect on the music scene with rave reviews. He has been compared to giant icons like Frank Ocean and has been well received in the music community by big established names like fellow countryman Thomas Dybdahl, who has featured Beharie on several releases.
Beharie has previously been described by Aftenposten as one of Norway's best artists. The young Norwegian has also captured the hearts of Danish listeners, and he has played on Danish soil a multitude of times. The musician has played in VEGA several times, at Hotel Cecil and at SPOT Festival. In November he has been invited back to Lille VEGA, so that the audience can get their fix of Beharie's musical embrace.
