The shooting star Mille is heading towards Store VEGA
Daydreams, diaries and the Danish language. Three elements that have been a part of Mille's life for as long as she can remember. At just 15 years old, she chose to take these daydreams seriously when she moved away from home to pursue her musical dream. With her diary in hand, she waved goodbye to her childhood home in Aarhus.
Three years later, Mille has a number of releases in her backpack, including the EP dagdrømmer from 2024, from which the title song has been in frequent rotation on the radio and in headphones across the country. “Dagdrømmer” together with the song “Lyver For Min Dagbog” really made Mille noticed on the Danish music scene in 2024. The former was the outro song in Jonas Risvig's youth series EVIGT. Two lines were drawn under Mille's booming career when she was able to play for a packed Ideal Bar in November.
She has just released the song “Fald ned” with DeDerDrenge. She has also unveiled her new EP, vågner, which will be released on February 21st of this year.
Using the diary's stories as a framework, Mille draws melodic images with the piano and guitar as a brush. Images that show everything from longing and (un)happiness from a young person's perspective. With a singer/songwriter approach to the world of pop, Mille writes catchy songs that are relatable to her peers, but also to anyone who has ever been young.
