On April 12th, new heights will be reached when flow master Loke Deph gives Lille VEGA a lesson in Danish hip hop.

Behind the name Loke Deph is rapper Deffy, who is set to dominate 2025. Recognised as one of the country's most unique lyricists, he has a distinctive, exuberant delivery that makes what he does seem easy. But that's far from the truth. Loke Deph is equal parts cheeky, sensitive and a constant genre innovator.

He established himself as an underground mastodon as 1/3 of the alternative group Kaput. He is responsible for countless legendary features and the "Weekend Mixtapes" series with his partner-in-crime, Esben.

Since 2016, Loke Deph has a handful of critically acclaimed releases under his belt, including collaborations with Nixen, F L E M M I N G and Semphiz. He is also one half of the electronic rap group SOLKUR, a musical collaboration with Magnus Albert - known as Albert from BENAL.

Say goodbye to convention and give in to Loke Deph's complicated universe rooted in the alternative hip hop scene. With Loke Deph, sensitivity and attitude meet. Inspired by Madlib and Freddie Gibbs, he sets a new standard for Danish-language rap.

VEGA is not unfamiliar territory for the rapper, who has visited the venue several times both as Loke Deph and with SOLKUR. We look forward to opening the doors to the boundary-pushing rapper once again.
