From around the mid-nineties, Queensbridge, New York-based hip hop duo Mobb Deep - featuring rappers Havoc and Prodigy - set the bar for the sound of hardcore East Coast hip hop with three best-selling albums: The Infamous, Hell On Earth and Murda Muzik.

The duo made a name for themselves thanks to their dark beats and a cold and cynical delivery on mic. With singles like ‘Shook Ones (pt.ll 2)’ and ‘Survival Of The Fittest’ still considered some of the absolute masterpieces of rap music, Mobb Deep are completely indispensable in hip hop.

Prodigy is sadly no longer with us as he passed away in 2017 due to complications from a congenital blood disease. Before that, however, Mobb Deep delivered a compelling headlining show at the Vanguard Festival in 2015.

Nine years later, the entire Mobb Deep catalogue will be served up live and loud once again when Havoc sets fire to VEGA on March 15th with Mobb Deep collaborator Big Noyd and DJ L.E.S. as special guests!
