Plaguemace s death metal universe is a frontal attack of riff-filled songs that invite vigorous exercise of the neck muscles. In their press text, the quintet describe themselves as thrashy death'n'roll, which can make the listener think of bands like Grave, High on Fire, Entombed or Obituary, with added bombastic melodies, brutal breakdowns and infectious grooves.

Live, their fierce energy and dirty riffs become explosive in a maelstrom of guitar fragments, headbanging and pure madness. It set the band's concert at this year's Copenhell on a high note with good reviews and praise for the atmosphere. The music magazine Gaffa reviewed the concert 5/6 stars, and the web magazine Devilution awarded the show 4/5 and the following words.

".. The whole band has a wild energy and plays tight and concentrated. The style is groovy and catchy death metal. Not so varied, but it works. The audience is having a party. There will be headbanging, moshing and surfing. There's even a guy in a wheelchair who crowdsurfs!”

The band released their debut album last year, Reptilian Warlords, which followed the EP Primal Priest from 2020. They have supported bands such as BAEST, Katla and Crocell and played at festivals such as Metal Magic and Tornvang Open Air.

Vulvatory:

The Danish extreme metal band, Vulvatorious, were victorious at this year's Copenhell and Roskilde Festival, where their concerts were highly praised by Politiken and Undertoner respectively. In their universe, the listener is greeted by a distinctive sound storm that varies in expression, but never in intensity. Their self-titled debut album was released this year.

Gutteral Disgorge is a sludge and brutal death metal duo from Aarhus. Ludvig van Norde on guitar and Anton Theilade on vocals have released the two EPs together: Enthralled By Mutilation and latest The Slamputation Tapes from this year.
