It's gonna get personal when Reveal Party takes the stage at Ideal Bar
Emily Holm Nyhuus, who is the woman behind the name Reveal Party, writes songs about existing in a chaos of complicated emotions and how one may have to cut off any connection to them when they become too difficult. "Cut your feelings, like me", is her quiet advice on the opening track of the debut EP, You Stole a Year of My Life, who in 2020 established the Reveal Party, which garnered praise from both Danish and international media.
Reveal Party's sources of inspiration are both painful midwest emo and uplifting pop songs, and therefore Reveal Party's music sounds both melancholy and hopeful. Common to the songs are the sharp, raw lyrics, Emily's soft but steely voice and a sea of distorted guitars.
Reveal Party has received airplay on P6 Beat and P3 and given major interviews to DR Kultur, Go' Morgen Danmark, Kulturen på P1, Femina and Soundvenue. In the summer of 2021, Reveal Party also played at Roskilde Summerdays and in the same year she received the music award at the Danish Rainbow Awards 2021. In 2022, she played around 40 concerts, including opening this year's Roskilde Festival on the Rising stage.
In 2023, she released the last part of her EP trilogy with the overall title Favorite Person, followed by a DK tour in April around it. In the same year, Reveal Party became even more of an international project in collaboration with Berlin/Luxembourg label Two Steps Twice, and Norwegian Braveheart Records. With the first concerts in both England, Germany, Holland, Austria, Sweden and Luxembourg.

Pelts is a Copenhagen trio with roots in London's DIY scene, serving up quirky and catchy tunes that rarely stand still until they pull you somewhere new. The band consists of three friends who came together in Copenhagen after many years in various projects such as Molar, Fever Dream and local twee-punks Enids.
Pelts' music is a playful blend of post-punk, minimalist riffs and honest lyrics. Their songs explore themes such as the anxieties of adulthood, the fight against sameness and a defiant insistence on being yourself. Drawing inspiration from bands like Grass Widow and Electrelane and a penchant for straightforward lyricism, Pelts deliver an immediate and thought-provoking sound that is a celebration of creative freedom.
