In 2020, Sofie moved from Jutland to Copenhagen in her pursuit of a music career. She participated in KarriereKanonen's development course in 2022, and her final place in KarriereKanonen has in recent years acted as a catalyst for the refinement of her musical expression and craft.

"The song embraces not wanting to have children, the desire for a freer life, where you are not bound by packed lunches, poor sleep and having to be a stable support for 20 years.
