Sophie1998 writes and produces songs that act as open diaries filled with warmth, enjoyment of life and self-irony. She depicts the ironic absurdities and challenges of everyday life with a twinkle in her eye and a smile on her face. Sofie is not afraid to laugh at herself.

In her songs, she combines what many would call solid pop songwriting with notes from the American R'n'B that forms the soundtrack to her life.

In 2020, Sofie moved from Jutland to Copenhagen in her pursuit of a music career. She participated in KarriereKanonen's development course in 2022, and her final place in KarriereKanonen has in recent years acted as a catalyst for the refinement of her musical expression and craft.

Sofie1998 is current with the single "Marianne og Henrik", which "is a personal song to her parents about not wanting children.

"The song embraces not wanting to have children, the desire for a freer life, where you are not bound by packed lunches, poor sleep and having to be a stable support for 20 years. At the same time, the song also embraces the doubts that I afraid of, will come when I get old; namely, the doubt whether I have made the right choice."

The track is the sound of folk-country-pop, where the narrative and emotions are at the forefront. It is a meeting between the soft and organic, and the dramatic choice of sound in the production and the chords.

Sofie pours her heart out in the song, and this can be heard in particular in the vocals, which are full of nerve and tenderness. It balances between being completely intimate and close, to open up in a catchy chorus that will have you humming along.

Campisterne var på hele landets læber, da de i starten af året deltog i X-Factor med deres egen sang ”Campingsangen”. De bliver inspireret af mennesker og følelser omkring dem, og elsker at bruge et metaforisk og drømmende sprog, der maler klare billeder i lytterens sind. På den måde kan de opleve den samme stemning, det samme øjeblik eller den samme erindring, som musikerne formidler gennem vores musik.

Campisterne består af Marie, som er 16 år gammel og Astrid, som er 19 år gammel. De kommer begge fra små byer i Nordsjælland og de lærte hinanden at kende i 2021 på Fredensborg Kommunes musikhold ”UC Stars”. Marie og Astrid blev bedre og bedre venner, og begyndte også at skrive sange sammen; og det var her ”Campingsangen” blev skabt – faktisk som den allerførste sang de nogensinde skrev i fællesskab. Herefter har de to både lavet musik hver især, men også meget mere musik sammen.
