What seemed like a final period in 2018 now turns out to be a comma in the history of Turboweekend. Six years after their last tour, the distinctive Danish band is back, ready to occupy the stages in Denmark's four largest cities in the spring of 2025. As part of the comeback, new music is also on the way.

Turboweekend burst onto the Danish music scene in the mid-00s with a sound that broke with the melancholy of the time. Their musical universe is an electric fusion of soul, rock and electronic beats that can be both explosive and dreamy. With their debut album Night Shift and hits like "Into You" they quickly set the standard for a new era of Danish music that combined emotional depth with a danceable energy.

The band's second album, Ghost of a Chance, brought them even greater success with singles like "After Hours" and "Trouble Is". This unique blend of powerful vocals, pulsating rhythms and atmospheric synthesizers made Turboweekend one of the country's most sought-after live bands.

Now, with new music on the horizon, Turboweekend is ready to continue their sonic journey. Their return not only marks a new beginning, but also a continuation of their ability to create soundscapes that both touch and move.

laura ziani er en dansk sangerinde, sangskriver og cellist, som på kunstnerisk vis kombinerer iørefaldende melodier med dybsindige tekster og celloens fortryllende lyd. med en uddannelse i sangskrivning fra det rytmiske musikkonservatorium og en baggrund som klassisk cellist fra det kongelige danske musikkonservatorium skaber hun et unikt musikalsk univers.

i slutningen af 2022 udgav hun sit anmelderroste debutalbum breathwork, som soundvenue roste som "en formidabel debut". albummet fik også ros fra gaffa, politiken, jyllands-posten og weekendavisen. hendes musik blander elementer af alt-pop, jazz og klassiske toner, hvilket resulterer i et drømmende og dybt personligt lydbillede.
