Swedish hard rock force Thundermother are gearing up to unleash their seventh studio album, Mothers of Thunder, following the release of Heat Wave in 2020 and Dirty & Divine in 2025.

Due for release on 5 February next year via powerhouse rock and metal label Napalm Records, Mothers of Thunder delivers exactly what you would expect from Thundermother: high-octane riffs, infectious melodies and powerhouse vocals, all wrapped up in a full-throttle hard rock sound made for raised fists, devil horns and plenty of headbanging.

And if there is one thing Thundermother have proven time and time again, it is that they know how to put on a show.

The Swedish rockers have shared the stage with legends including Scorpions and Judas Priest and brought their explosive live show to some of Europe’s biggest rock and metal festivals, from Wacken Open Air and Summer Breeze to Sweden Rock.

When Thundermother stormed COPENHELL in 2022, Danish music magazine GAFFA had nothing but praise for their performance, writing:

“The word had already spread that Swedish Thundermother are a MUST-see. The rumour was not exaggerated.”

Their latest album, Dirty & Divine, also earned rave reviews from Danish metal outlet Heavymetal.dk, who singled out the hard rock anthem “So Close” for particular praise:

“One thing is clear: the Swedes can sing. There is soul in ‘So Close’, whether they are singing or roaring – right up there with Tina Turner and way beyond Brian Johnson.”

With Mothers of Thunder, Thundermother are ready to crank things up once again. Their seventh album promises another shot of uncompromising, high-energy hard rock – driven by huge riffs, thunderous drums and vocals that demand to be heard.

On 30 March, the Swedish rockers will bring all that firepower to Lille VEGA.
