Behind the artist name Bifald hides the two friends Malte Bach Jensen and Max Le Maistre Matzen, who together, and since they were very young, have found freedom and creativity in music.

Bifald is founded on a close friendship and their lyrics spring from an honest and sensitive place within the two 21-year-old friends, whose music is a fusion of R&B and electronic pop, inspired by their shared experiences. Like a round of applause, their music is at once impulsive, powerful, fragile and present.

Their Danish-language lyrics embrace the great emotions – from euphoria and love to pain and sorrow – while their productions balance between the powerful and grand and the fragile and intimate.

The duo's debut single, Putting Everything on the Line (2024) from September, has not only secured them attention from the audience and on the radio, but also a place on GAFFA's "They will be big in 2025" list.

Most recently, Bifald has been on tour with Blæst as a warm-up for sold-out venues in Aalborg and Odense. The invitation came after Blæst had seen them live, and in their own words were very impressed with how much energy they bring out from the edge of the stage.
