In Australia's second largest city, Melbourne, Kate Durman, Lachlan McGeehan and Morgan Wright came together in 2018 in the musical collaboration that is today the experimental and exploratory Acopia .

In their music, the three musicians work with a unique restraint that creates an intimate atmosphere where the listener feels more than welcome to dive into the depths of the dreamy pop melodies.

Since their debut album, Chances(2022), Acopia's lyrics have been inspired by genuine emotion and raw instinct. Following their self-titled album, Acopia (2023), they have strengthened their experience on the live stage with sold-out shows in both the UK, Europe and Australia.

Their third album will be released in September, Blush Response, and already in the same month you can experience Acopia at Ideal Bar on September 26th.

miaw er en cross-pop-duo, der leverer UK bass-inspireret, dekonstrueret clubmusik, som leder tankerne hen på Sega Bodega, Body Meat og james K. Samtidig blander gruppen deres lyd med elementer fra shoegaze og 90’ernes trip-hop. Med hurtige breakbeats, arpeggierede synthesizere og utraditionelle sampling-teknikker skaber de to producere en lyd i krydsfeltet mellem et remix og en popsang. 

Duoen består af Frederik Fog og Liza Dries fra henholdsvis Danmark og Holland. miaws debut-EP ‘My Petswan' har fået spilletid på internationale radiostationer såsom P6, BBC6 (UK) og 1Live (DE), samt omtaler i flere danske medier.
