Marcus.wav turns on the musical thermostat in VEGA
On January 10, 2026, Marcus.wav will pause the winter band and turn on the heat in Store VEGA.
The last time Marcus.wav made his way to Enghavevej 40, it was for a packed Lille VEGA in 2021. Now the musician has once again set course for VEGA with his productions, where emotion, love and nightlife merge to the sound of pop in the year 2025.
Armed to the teeth with good melodies, presence and a lyrical universe that can soften everyone's frozen winter hearts, the musician will take to the stage on January 10, 2026 and warm up the house's largest hall in a cold time.
The concert in VEGA is a unique opportunity to experience the up-and-coming songwriter, as Marcus.wav has decided not to tour in 2025. Therefore, the concert in VEGA is quite exclusive.
Marcus.wav tells about the concert in Store VEGA in a press release:
“I've been performing with the same songs and the same setup for the last 4 years, and as I've turned it all upside down in terms of the way I make and release music, I also want to do the same live. It takes time and preparation, so I just hope that people want to come in and see a blast of a live show in January 2026, when we're completely ready for it. And until then, you'll have to make do with hearing me on the internet.”
Last year, the musician decided to release his music through the smaller indie label Bon appétit!. In this way, the musician gained ownership of his own productions and was given renewed creative freedom. Marcus.wav has most recently reaped the fruits of the change with the singles “Det sker alt for tit” and “Forsvinde før min tid”. The former single was recently proclaimed to be P3’s Unmissable.
In 2020, Marcus.wav burst through the sound barrier with the song “Happy Life,” and the following year, the pop singer went all the way to DR’s Career Cannon and found himself at the top of the podium when the winner was announced.
In the years since, the releases have fallen like pearls on a string; especially the musical collaborations “Berlin” with USSEL, “Ung, Dum og Forelsket” with Mumle and the album En sød lille én from 2024 are just a few highlights from the musician.
