French temptations ala Vendredi Sur Mer in VEGA
In May Vendredi Sur Mer gave a sold-out concert at Hotel Cecil, but this december you can experience her live when she gives a concert in Store VEGA.
The Danes love Vendredi Sur Mer and luckily there is now good news for them. On December 11th, fans of her wonderfully inviting mix of classic French yeyé-pop, disco, electro, synthpop and house can look forward to seeing her live.
Behind the stage name Vendredi Sur Mer is the French-Swiss singer and songwriter Charline Mignot.
From her permanent base in Paris, she has garnered great recognition in recent years from both international and French music media for her albums First month (2019) and Metamorphosis (2022). In 2025, she has so far released the single "Tout résonne", but hopefully more new songs will follow.
Vendredi Sur Mer's catchy and sensual melodies evoke memories of French aces like L'Impératrice, La Femme and Charlotte Gainsbourg – but Vendredi Sur Mer is all its own.
