With Colombia and Bogotá as their backdrop, the metal masters from Syracusæ have, over the last 10 years, consistently delivered powerful and polyrhythmic masterpieces that pierce both the heart and the feet.

As the first Colombian band ever, Syracusæ visited COPENHELL and their Gehenna stage last year.

The band made the festival buzz, and the concert caught the attention of several reviewers. The music media Rockzeit reported from the festival, awarded Syracusæ five stars and wrote in their review of the concert:

“It was a liberation to hear metal that had different rhythms and sounds than you're used to. I think every song had metal soul... and direction so it hit home. It was songwriting with respect, building up to dramatic climaxes, which was also fantastically executed.”

On stage, Syracusæ is a shot of pure metal and prog adrenaline, and the band excels in combining sonic power, high tempo and challenging time signatures in a dose that in every way creates favorable conditions for headbanging and circle-pits.

On June 1, the sound of Colombian metal will fill Ideal Bar when Syracusæ takes the stage.
