FØNS is honesty and vulnerability. The lyrics are relatable and the music is raw and apt. Behind the artist name hides Sebastian Føns, who has released well-received music since 2023. The debut single “Leve Med” was selected as Upcoming of the Week on P3.

2024 featured two EP releases from FØNS. The debut EP Ridser I Lakken and the follow-up Forplejning. The latter was released a few days before FØNS' first headline concert at a packed Ideal Bar. Forplejning explores money and designer clothes, and focuses on values and materialism. It is an authentic commentary on capitalism and provides a unique insight into FØNS' journey as a musician in Denmark. GAFFA praised the EP with the headline:

“Promising Danish underground rapper gives the impression of excess”.

After a smashing debut concert at Ideal Bar, FØNS is now ready to return to VEGA with presence and energy. With touches of hip-hop and R&B, the music will resonate with listeners as FØNS reflects on the sharp contrasts of youth in Lille VEGA. The evening's themes range from hope and dreams to doubt and adversity, while the sound aims to both captivate and challenge the audience.
