In a completely electric fusion of Kurdish and Asian music traditions, BIJI finds its musical roots and spices it up with modern tones from hip hop, Afrobeat and Latin.

With rocket speed, BIJI has become a new energetic live act, bursting off the edge of the stage with energy and sound. The duo recently set feet and hearts on fire at this year's Roskilde Festival.

The Swedish duo consists of Robin Nazari and Maceo Frost, who, in addition to their musical partnership, have their feet firmly planted in film and TV. Nazari is a musician and actor, and Frost is a music producer and director, which is of great importance to BIJI's universe, where a natural love for the visual is clearly in play.

For BIJI, the meeting of sound and image creates sweet music, and the pair take the audience on an audiovisual journey that is deeply rooted in Kurdish culture, life and celebration.
