Grandma's House emerged from Bristol’s vibrant music scene and consists of Yasmin Berndt, Poppy Dodgson, Zoë Zinsmeister, and Polly Jessett. Together, they have crafted a sound where resonant basslines, angular guitars, and multi-part harmonies collide in a space between darkness and light.

On their debut album Baby You’re A Winner, released on August 21, the Bristol quartet captures both the melodic and the raw, the intimate and the chaotic.

Their songs explore themes of love, grief, loneliness, and the existential questions that come with life, while the band’s distinctive balance of high energy and emotional weight gives their music a unique intensity.

The debut album is the result of several years of development through EP releases and extensive live performances. With producer Ali Chant (PJ Harvey, Yard Act, Perfume Genius) behind the controls, Grandmas House set out to capture the energy and intensity that have made their live shows such a defining part of the band’s identity.

On October 16, audiences will have the chance to experience Grandmas House’s high-intensity, emotionally charged universe live when the British quartet takes the stage at Ideal Bar.
