The pop trio No. 4 spoils VEGA with relatable catchy tunes
On March 29th you can hear catchy pop tales of late nights and complicated love from Norwegian No. 4.
The trio have just released their fifth album Indre liv. The album includes the single "Dårlig ide" about being in a toxic relationship that feels so good that you surrender to it, even though it's a bad idea.
The quieter song "Min for en kveld" describes a summer night in town where you go home with someone who feels like the one, but with the fear of never seeing them again.
In the festive corner is "Vil ikke hjem" (Don't want to go home), about the desperation when the party is over too soon and you're the last one to reluctantly leave after emptying the bottles and trying to turn up the music.
The band writes Norwegian-language pop songs that sometimes are sensitive and heartfelt, while other times get you in a party mood. With catchy beats and soulful melodies spiced with beautiful harmonies, they let the listener into their embracing universe. Their lyrics tell stories of youth in Oslo, touching on topics such as love, growing up and family.
No 4. released their first single "Lite og Stort" in 2014, and over the years they have received a wealth of critical acclaim and have been nominated for five Spellemann awards.
The group has captured Norwegian hearts and played countless sold-out concerts in their home country. This spring, they can be experienced on Danish soil when they take over Lille VEGA.
