At the beginning of 2026, Politiken called Søn for "Danish pop music's best-kept secret".

The band, which is now anything but that, is once again ready to step into the spotlight at Store VEGA.

The single "Pissoir" was named P3's Unavoidable and featured on several lists of the year's best Danish releases, while "Skabt til at være to" is currently in the top 5 of the most played songs on P3 in 2026.

Since the debut album Scandinavian Design In 2019, they have made a name for themselves with ambitious releases, strong live performances and impressive lyrics. At the beginning of the year, the band released the album Søn, which marks a new chapter with a more personal and direct expression. The album was met with five-star and five-heart reviews from, among others, GAFFA, Soundvenue and Politiken.

The band has released four albums and received nominations for, among others, the DUP Award for Album of the Year (Solar storm) and the Carl Prize for Composer of the Year in rock. But while the recorded music has achieved success on radio and streaming, Søn has been known for their live performances since the beginning.

When Søn makes its way to Store VEGA, the audience can therefore look forward to a concert experience where the intimate and fragile meets the grand and explosive. All delivered with the empathy and intensity that makes the band a praised live name on the Danish scene.
